In 2002, Gord Pederson and Dan Gagnon began Auto Gallery with the initiative that there had to be a better, more personable way of selling cars.
Both Pederson and Gagnon began their car sales careers within the confines of a large manufacturer dealership, and quickly found the competitive and big-shop atmosphere not to their liking.
The two men readily created a plan for a community-minded auto dealership that they could be proud of owning and that people would find worthy of repeat business and of referring their friends and family to for their car purchasing needs.
"The repeat and referral business has been the cornerstone to what we do." Pederson says. "Our number one source of advertising is our repeat and referral business. We felt all along if you treat someone like the way that you want to be treated, they'll come back and bring friends members with them." And that is exactly what happened.

About forty percent of Auto Gallery's business is repeat customers and referrals. "A figure like that is unheard of in this industry," says Pederson.
"One of the biggest things people tell us is when they walk in here they immediately get the feeling that we really care," Pederson says. "People that come in here often say they enjoyed purchasing a vehicle."
Providing quality products and honest sales service to the people of their community is priority to Pederson and Gagnon. "I love the people here, and I appreciate their loyalty," says Pederson.
"Dan and I are buying the cars that are here," Pederson explains. "Go through the lot and you won't find one car over 60,000 km or more than three years old. So when we're looking at a car, we're on our hands and knees, checking it out thoroughly because it belongs to us.
